
Research Scientist in Veterinary Product Development
Triveritas is a dynamic, contract product development business with offices in the UK, Germany, France, the USA and Poland. We provide expert consultancy services to multi-national veterinary pharmaceutical companies.
Due to continuing expansion we have an exciting new vacancy at our UK office in an attractive rural setting near Carlisle UK. The position is full – time and comes with the associated benefits of a contributable pension scheme and two employee bonus schemes.
The main duties and responsibilities of this job are: collation of data and documents for inclusion in regulatory dossiers, including conducting gap analyses of existing client dossiers; responding to regulatory agency questions on submitted applications; critical reviews of scientific data and published papers relating to veterinary pharmaceuticals; technical report writing and analysis of data; presentation of data to clients and regulators, technology appraisals for product development; project management of veterinary pharmaceutical development projects; managing clients internationally; GCPv Monitoring; liaison internationally with clients, Regulatory Agencies, sub-contractors and other third parties including colleagues in France, Germany, USA and Poland.
Previous experience of at least 20 years working in the R&D part of one or more Animal Health companies is required for this senior position, and it is a requirement that you have at least 15 years experience of developing veterinary products for regulatory approval in USA. You will be qualified to at least PhD level in one or more disciplines relating to the development of veterinary products such as veterinary medicine, parasitology, animal science, or pharmacology. Experience is also required in the development of veterinary medicines in one or more sectors of cancer treatment, renal disease, cardiac disease, trauma therapy (e.g. shock, wound healing), or osteo-arthritis.
Flexibility to handle widely varying and demanding projects and clients is essential. Computer literacy, good communication skills, and a willingness to travel are required.
