Director of Regulatory Affairs

Rhona completed her PhD in microbiology with immunology in 1984.

She worked on various Animal Health research projects with SmithKline Beecham Animal Health before joining the UK Veterinary Medicines Directorate in 1996 as an Immunologicals assessor and inspector.

In 1999 Rhona returned to industry and became responsible for licensing vaccines throughout the EU for Fort Dodge Animal Health (part of Wyeth Pharmaceuticals). This involved strategic advice on development of vaccines to meet EU regulations.

Rhona is a regular speaker at international conferences on Regulatory Affairs, holds eleven patents for antibiotics and anthelmintics and has contributed to papers in six peer-reviewed journals.
